WINS!

Update: Wins happening so fast – no time to catch up here, will return soon to update!

This page is dedicated to our Graduate WINS! As with anything in life, when we show our gratitude we ‘get more of that.’ It is fun to see what happens when a CEO, Entreprenuer, Executive (etc.) becomes a graduate of CEO Space; as it has often been repeated that the very person you need is sitting right next to you at the Forum or the solution you are looking for is the solution a person at your meal table is SNAPING about.
Read the stories below and we think you will be entrigued and want to know more about this cooperative networking club for CEO’s.
These are the stories of our Erie area Grads of CEO Space – where things happen at HYPER-SPEED (like the speed of thought).

This just came in an email to me from Berny, CEO of CEO Space – written by Laura Kowalski, Erie grad and Club President in VA:

I just got back from the annual Rib Fest in downtown Erie. I watched as a graduate ran the four day, 50,000 people event in its largest version ever. Let me tell you that EVERYONE who knew her from her previous years doing the event (even her husband) remarked on how different she was now: how in control, and how calm, and clear she was. She did better this year financially than ever before. Vendors were coming up and asking her for business advice. Vendors were commenting they only want to work with her in the future. They want to know how she came to know so much about business. She told them. Her mind is jumping ahead to how this can really grow even bigger, even better, even easier for her. Even better, she knows she has a place that can help her make it happen. I had to smile.

I had to smile as I watched our CEO Space Erie family man the tent to help people vote for their favorite ribs so a people’s choice award could be hung up on another vendor’s wall, as teens fundbusted to get to July forum, performing live on stage and amazing the audience. How nice it was to sit and talk about real world change in a positive atmosphere with our family at an event a grad was putting on – taking up a major part of downtown Erie – and be an example to others.

Then I came home to a grateful email … from a man just returned from 510 who had planned on starting his own business soon, who took a chance on CEO Space and was blown away by it and the power and the information … and who just got laid off unexpectedly from his job of 10 years yesterday. Perfect timing. Perfect timing. Now he goes into this new life, new business, maybe sooner than he expected, but with greater ease and a CEO Space family by his side that can truly make a difference. He is already moving ahead, experiencing no downtime.

    And that was just tonight.

    Thanks for the Space.

    Laura

  • I am a multiple business owner with some great projects in the works. However, earlier this year, I seemed to be “STUCK”! I joined CEO Space in February, and attended the Vegas Forum in March.
    Since then:
#1 – Erie Pest Control – thanks to Harry, a fellow CEO Space member, we now accept credit cards and are on our way to decreasing that dreaded “Accounts Receivable” balance.
#2 – Annette’s Kitchen – In Vegas, we learned about sequencing and investors. Because of that lesson, we have an investor that is partnering with us to get our first shipment of Olive Salad processed and jarred.
#3 – Read To Rebound – my nonprofit. After attempting to get my 501c3 paperwork filed through a lawyer for the last 16 months (unsuccessfully), my application is almost complete and is being guided by the Nonprofit Partnership of Erie.
#4 – Mismatched – I completed a screenplay last year and have been struggling to get the attention of a literary agent. Because of a contact I met through CEO Space, I will be meeting with Gary Goldstein, Producer of Pretty Woman, on July 6th in San Diego.

I think it is safe to say that I am officially “UNSTUCK”! Thank you CEO Space!

Kim Burney here! I was the first Erie Graduate having attended CEO Space in July 2009 – so I will start the list. I knew we needed this cooperative networking model to help REVIVE Erie and create Our Abundant Community (TM), so I started our local CEO Space club in Erie as the Club President; by November I became a Regional Director as we added two more Club Presidents. Today, as I am writing this we have close to 50 enrolled members of CEO Space Club in Erie. So here is a list of just a few of my wins:
    1. New Erie CEO Space club
    2. I sold my IT consulting company in December 2009 and made money on my building in the midst of the worse recession I have ever seen. This was entirely due to the information I received at the CEO Space Forum in July 2009 and the expert advice from the world class mentors there.
    3. I am finally able to fulfill my dream of helping entrepreneurs and CEO’s REALLY grow their businesses and find solutions in this cooperative environment.
I have a huge list of wins and will stop for now and allow other Grads to fill in the next comments – you will hear from me again.
