I became a lifetime member of CEO Space in July 2009 becoming a CEO Space 709 graduate.  This lifetime membership has benefits that I did not imagine when I first enrolled.  All I could see was the first time I would attend a CEO Space Forum, not the continual benefits.

It was very hot in Vegas when I arrived in July 2009, it was 112 degrees and dry, very dry – and I loved it!  I was born in the South (Texas) and have lived much of my life in the North being cold.  So I was pleased to find the heat and sun.  I arrived at the resort and was greeted by many CEO Space grads and new members, it was like a wave of Energizer Bunnies, there was so much positive energy.

There were Inventors, top level Executives from large corporations, Authors, Attorneys, Business Consultants, Instructors, Entrepreneurs, Investors (oh yes, I met them and watched people receive checks), CPAs, Publishers, Mentors, Speakers and so many more!  All were attending CEO Space to gain more; knowledge, team members, investors, etc. I met one of my all-time favorite speakers, Les Brown, who was there for the first time – I was thrilled when he told me he would endorse my daughter’s first book, “Change my World with Love,” by Ellen Morgan.

The host hotel was full so I had to stay at a nearby hotel.  I arrived by myself and ended up sharing my room with 3 others – it was a blast and we are friends to this day.  It was like being in CEO Space college, roommates, classes, meetings, visiting with friends and the EDUCATION – so much to learn.  I thought I knew so much about business, after all I have owned several businesses in the past and was the owner of a Virtual IT company at the time.  I quickly learned that I didn’t know much and much of what I knew was not correct.  I had to unlearn and relearn with CEO Space instructors help.

Berny Dohrmann asked each of us to leave our agendas at the door and focus on helping others for the first two days.  WOW, that was different.  So I did just that, I went about asking others what they were doing and how I could help them.  It was so refreshing not to have to think about my stuff, it was fun to focus on helping others.  I got to use my IT knowledge and website building skills (and of course other talents to help others – let me  tell you it felt GOOD!

I have always wanted to build houses for Habitat for Humanity – I just never had the time to do that. My CEO Space membership allows me to give back.  CEO Space is my Habitat for Humanity!

The instructors for CEO Space are all volunteers, they are not paid, they come to CEO Space Forums to give back. They tithe their brains and give back.
